Haveli Brij Bhushanji, Bundi

About: Haveli Brij Bhushanji was built by the family of the same name about 200 years ago. This family gave Bundi as many as 4 Prime Ministers all in the 19th century. This beautifully restored Haveli is situated on the road to the palace and its location make it very convenient to visit other places in the town and enjoy the traditional way of life and culture of this small but very beautiful place. The views from the terraces are excellent, especially at night when the palace is illuminated. You can still see a lot of original paintings and murals on the walls of the haveli.

 

All the rooms have been renovated in such a way that the atmosphere of the old architecture is not disturbed.The rooms have been traditionally decorated and few rooms have some of the finest Bundi School Painting (murals) one can see in this region. Every room and toilet have windows with colour glass.
