Rajputs. Rawatsar was an estate (Jagir) of the erstwhile
Bikaner state. The chief of Rawatsar was amongst the

hosts: Mrs. Veena and Mandvi. You will also have the
pleasure of meeting a remarkable woman here: Padmashree
Rani Laxmi Kumari Chundawat. She made a path breaking
decision on abandoning Purdah in the feudal era and
served three times in the Indian Assembly playing key
role in complicated politics of that time. She is also a
gifted story teller and a renowned scholar of Rajasthani
folk tales and verse. She is blessed with two sons:-
Rawat Ghanshyam Singh (Retd. Air Force Officer) and Sh.
Balbhadra Singh, Director General of Police who is also
a historian. |
